Opportunity:
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record in investment operations providing cost-effective, high quality, and customer-centric solutions. The candidate must be a highly collaborative self-starter who can support the execution of the following types of engagements from inception to successful conclusion:
- Operational process analysis & redesign
- Outsourcing Selection / Implementation or Conversion
- Technology Selection and Implementation
- Operating Model Development / Redesign
- Oversight Model Development
- Testing Strategy (QA, UAT, Model Office)
- M&A analysis
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a consultant for designated engagements
- Work with senior Olmstead consultants to facilitate workshops with clients and vendors to capture project documentation and assess recommendations as needed
- Develop quality business requirements, test cases/scripts, data compilation and data analysis
- Actively pursue opportunities to further expand domain knowledge and participate in industry events
- Proactively keeps team members informed of progress of assigned tasks and escalates issues with meeting deadlines
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to operate successfully in a collaborative organizational structure
- Proven ability to derive and document current and future state process flows and data flows
- Highly effective formal writing and presentation skills
- Strong communication skills
- Highly skilled in Microsoft suite – MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
- Possesses 3-7 years of experience with domain knowledge across key asset management functions with working knowledge of leading service providers and technology platforms supporting the front, middle, or back office
- Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree required
- Ability to travel domestically, potentially up to 60-70%
