Prior to founding Olmstead Associates, Inc., Ron worked for BFDS, Price Waterhouse, Warrington Financial Systems, CSC Consulting, and Eagle Development Group. He also presents at conferences and provides seminars for the Securities Operations Association of New England, the Massachusetts Bankers Association and various conferences and companies. Ron has his BA from Hobart College and MBA from Cornell University.
Phil has over twenty years experience in management and information technology providing strong analytical capabilities, technical skills, and broad knowledge of trading, investment management and securities processing. He has successfully integrated technology, financial and administrative options into efficient and productive business solutions for organizations such as Massachusetts Financial Services, Aetna Life & Casualty, and Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance. Phil has his BS from Cornell University and MBA from the University of Hartford.
Mike has over twenty-one years experience in financial services systems design, development, and implementation. His strong technical expertise is complemented by his knowledge of securities accounting and processing as practiced in treasury operations, investment advisors, insurance companies, and mutual funds. He has worked with many types of securities and agreements - domestic and international, including equities, fixed income securities, repos and reverses, money markets, foreign exchange trades, asset backed securities, futures and options. Mike has his BS from MIT.
Leslie has provided business and systems analysis support to the financial services industry for over nine years and additional industries for another six years. She has strong project management, business reengineering and systems design, development, implementation and testing skills. She has worked with both the front and back offices for trust, mutual fund, and investment management companies. She has recently focused on investment management and trading workstations. Leslie has her BS from the University of Rhode Island.
Pat has provided securities systems design, development, implementation, and QA support for ten years and operational support for sixteen years. He provides strong business expertise and analytic skills specializing in regulatory compliance and back-office processing. He has worked at organizations such as Warrington Financial Systems, Bradford Data Services, Marks Allen & Co., A.G. Becker and Security Pacific. He has consulted to Fidelity Investments, Fleet Bank, State Street Bank, NCS and Bank of America. Pat has studied at St. PeterŐs College and attended bank and industry training programs.
STEVEN MARK
Steve has been involved in the development and implementation of several financial systems over the past fourteen years at organizations such as Fidelity Investments, Putnam Investments, Warrington Financial Systems and John Hancock. As a senior analyst, he has implemented and maintained modules for a client server based fixed income trading system and a mainframe based portfolio accounting system. He has also designed, implemented and maintained various portfolio accounting and securities processing applications. Steve has his BA from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and MBA from the State University of New York at Albany.
Lynn has spent twenty years in the securities industry providing support for personal, employee benefit and institutional trust, custody, and safekeeping operations. She provides strong business, analysis and project management skills. She has often participated in systems conversion, design, and implementation. Lynn has previously worked at Shawmut Bank and has recently supported client business specifications and systems conversions for a large brokerage client at Mellon Bank. She has participated in bank and industry training programs.
Maura has worked in the securities industry for over eight years focusing on portfolio management and global securities processing. She is a skilled systems analyst and quality assurance specialist. She has previously worked at The Boston Company and Shaw Data. James has spent seventeen years providing operations and systems support to the financial services industry focusing on security analysis, institutional trust and custody, and securities lending. He has previously worked at Merril Lynch, The Boston Company/Mellon, Fortune Management, and Putnam Investments. Jim provides strong business analysis and project management skills.
